Primary Media School magazine issued
11 февраля 2012 года

Primary Media School magazine issued  On 1 February 2012 the first issue of the electronic educational research and culture magazine "Primary Media School" saw the light of day.
The new electronic edition is the result of united efforts of the Shukshin Altai State Academy of Education, the Association of Film Education and Media Pedagogics of Russia, MOO “Information for All” (Interregional Public Organization) and school №16 of Kulish village (Chunskiy district, Irkutsk region).
Quite notably, both the idea and the result were initiated by Anastasia Alekseevna Nemirich - a young village teacher from the Irkutsk region. Her ideas gained further support from her pre-school and school education colleagues from all over Russia, as well as Russia’s and CIS pedagogics and education leaders.
It’s worth mentioning that the first edition uncovers a very positive trend – acknowledged leaders of Russian Pedagogics (Svetlana Gudilina, Tamara Komarova, Alexander Fyodorov), share the space with kindergarten teachers, philosophers and education practitioners from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, expressing their positions on different matters and issues, imparting innovative experience and offering their solutions. Special consideration is also given to the issue of applying methods of ecological education and upbringing as a means of preventing children and youth’s social disorders. The joint article by Yevgeniy Veselovskiy, a staff member of the Altaiskiy Biosphere Reserve, and Natalia Karpovich, the Russian Federation State Duma Deputy of the fifth convocation, relates about the Reserve’s long-term Nature and Children program targeted at health improvement, upbringing and education of at-risk children and youth by means of active ecotourism. Currently, the Nature and Children program is part of the Teletskaya school of youth ecotourism – “Guardians of the Lake” - of the Altaiskiy Biosphere Reserve.
Administration of the Altaiskiy Biosphere Reserve expresses sincere gratitude to the editorial staff of the Primary Media School magazine for highlighting the problem of ecological education and upbringing of Russia’s younger generation and hopes for further fruitful cooperation in the sphere of humanizing relationships between people and their environment.
